Lord Jesus,

you prayed that all may be one.

I pray for full unity

among all who profess you

to be the Lord and Saviour.

Bring all Christians together

into one fold and under one shepherd.

Let your Mother Mary,

Our Lady of the atonement,

intercede on our behalf

that all Christians

may once again eat your body

and drink your precious blood at one table

and adore the Blessed Trinity before one altar.

Open our minds,

O Holy Spirit, Spirit of unity,

change our hearts and give us humility

that can bridge the gaps that separate us

and surmount the barriers that divide us.
